Taste of Tioga reschedules to promote local food in the aftermath of the 2011 flood.
Originally scheduled to take place in September the Taste of Tioga was postponed due to the incredible flood damage from Tropical Storm Lee. Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County invites you to join local farms, restaurants and businesses as they highlight the rebuilding processes and celebrate the reopening of our local restaurants at the 10th Annual Taste of Tioga at the Owego Treadway Inn on November 3rd, 5:30-8:00 pm.
Taste of Tioga highlights the connection between local farms and restaurants by showcasing the high quality foods grown and prepared right in your own backyard. Guests sample a variety of gourmet style dishes including soups, salads, main courses and desserts.
We invite you to join with us in supporting our community and your local extension office programing. Tickets are $30 per person and include free wine tasting with the purchase of your dinner.
Tickets are available at our office at 56 Main St, in Owego, NY or at the door. We will honor the September tickets. Shake hands with your neighbor and celebrate the strength of our community in the face of a natural disaster.
